Aristrantia Major, also known as Masterwort, is native to central and eastern Europe, and an herbaceous perennial. The one I took a picture of, while on vacation in England, was a lighter pink. So, this is absolutely a piece of digital art, that has been deepened and softened. I really liked the shape of the flowers and the general way this grouping is. The deeper pink enlivens the screen and canvas. It reminded me of a really wonderful fabric print.
